Description
Concrete Dust Suppressor may be used to solve the dust problem that frequently arises when concrete surfaces are subjected to heavy traffic. It will harden the surface and reduce the permeability of concrete and is also compatible with later tiling installations.

Precautions
Always try a small area first to determine ease of application. Protect surrounding surfaces from splashes. Always rinse any residue off surface of tiling. Do not allow to dry on clothing as it will not wash out once dried.
Surface Preparation
All surfaces to be treated with Concrete Dust Suppressor must be free from oil, dirt, grease or any other contaminants. Old concrete which may have had spilled materials on it such as diluted acids, sodium bi-carbonate, etc. should be thoroughly washed and dried before treatment. Failure to remove such materials may cause a reaction on the surface to give a white deposit. If there is any doubt as to the cleanliness of the surface, it is advisable to treat a small trial area first.
Applying Concrete Dust Suppressor
Use a spray or watering can to apply the solution and spread it over the surface with a brush or squeegee. Any excess should be drained off. Allow the concrete to absorb the solution leaving a dry surface. Twenty-four hours is usually long enough, after which a second coat may be necessary.
After the final treatment, the surface should be washed with water to remove any excess solution that has not been absorbed. Normally this should be done about 12 to 14 hours after the final application, but in hot weather should be done earlier and before any excess solution has had time to dry on the surface.
Coverage
One litre of Concrete Dust Suppressor will be sufficient to cover 10 square metres of good concrete, however, it will cover a very much smaller area of very porous concrete.
Cleaning
Concrete Dust Suppressor may be cleaned from bushes, etc. with water while the product is still wet.
Expected Wear
Concrete Dust Suppressor has an indefinite wear.
Shelf Life
Concrete Dust Suppressor will keep indefinitely without deteriorating if stored in an airtight container. Store away from children.
