Description
Stone Seal is a matte finish UV stabilised, water based, acrylic sealer suitable for both interior and exterior use over porous natural stone, terracotta, limestone, etc. Stone Seal will protect the surface from mould and fungus and reduce the ingress of rain, but it will allow water vapour to escape. Stone Seal is also used as a pre-seal before Morgan State Seal and Stone & Concrete Seal to maintain the natural colour of the stone etc. and to prevent a darker appearance.

Precautions
Always try a small area first to determine ease of application and desired results. The area to be sealed must be thoroughly dry before use. Stone Seal is not designed to accept wear.
Surface Preparation
All surfaces to be treated with Stone Seal must be thoroughly dry, free from oil, dirt, grease or any other contaminants.
Applying Stone Seal
Stone Seal is best applied with a brush. When first applied, it may appear milky or streaky, but it dries to a clear film. Care should be taken to avoid bubbles. Stone Seal may be over coated when it is completely dry, so it is best to wait 24 hours. Alternatively, one or two coat may be applied to provide a wearing surface for the stone. Stone Seal may have light traffic (stockinged feet) when it appears dry which in warmer weather can be as quick as an hour.
Coverage
One litre of Stone Seal will be sufficient to cover 7-8 square metres, however, this may be reduced significantly on porous surfaces.
Cleaning
Stone Seal can be cleaned from brushes, etc. with water while the product is still wet.
Shelf Life
Store un-used Stone Seal in original sealed container away from children. Product will keep for approximately 12 months.
